Csi Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, also referred to as CSI and CSI: Las Vegas, is an American procedural forensics crime drama television series which ran on CBS from October 6, 2000, to September 27, 2015, spanning 15 seasons. The series starred William Petersen, Marg Helgenberger, George Eads, Ted Danson, Laurence Fishburne, Elisabeth Shue, and Jorja Fox and was the first in the CSI franchise.
A member from the audience mentioned, "OMG CSI sucks. The science in it sucks, the plots suck, the dialogue sucks and the characters suck. The only part that doesn't suck is production, but alone that is the most hollow thing about a TV series. Every time there is something badly wrong with the science in the series. They do impossible things with their gadgets, plain and simple. And why on earth does every, goddamn computer program have this weird "I press a single button or several buttons at random" interface? If they are, for example, matching pictures, when they want to do some completely arcane thing (bring up the guy's son's doctor's license records) it happens with one or two button presses. Also, the GUIs are so very wrong that it isn't even funny. And don't get me started about the chemistry stuff. The plots themselves always revolve around the team finding something incredibly unlikely. Like blood of the victim on the inside of the murderer's jeans' zipper. And the murderer is always predictable in his/her way. I really hate how the plot is always basically the same. And the dialogue! Jesus Christ it's awful. The people aren't talking to each other, they are talking to the viewer. They constantly say "cool and edgy" things as well as point out the obvious. Were I to work with people who talked like that, I would probably resort to violence. And I'm a very pacifistic man.
"There is victim's blood under this guy's finger nail clippings!" "So he's not telling the truth about not being there." "He's probably hiding something." "Something sinister."
And last, the character are all bland and/or annoying. None of them seem to have personality traits outside of smugness. And the worst thing? CSI is one of the better series these days. Things like CSI spinoffs, Numbers or Criminal Minds or that Navy CSI are even worse, as crazy as that sounds. When did TV turn into such horrid crap? The only good stuff seems to be Carnivale and Deadwood (and that stopped)."
